Minor Piercing Policy
The minimum age for Ear Lobe piercings is 6 years old. We do NOT pierce infants.
All other piercings have the following age requirements:
Ages 14+:
Ear Cartilage including Helix, Flat, Conch, Tragus, Rook, Forward Helix,
Nostril, Bridge, Tongue, Eyebrow
Ages 16+:
Lip, Philtrum, Navel (Bellybutton)
All other piercngs are ages 18+.
IN ADDITION TO MEETING THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS,
ALL MINOR PIERCINGS MUST HAVE:
For minors who are 6 to 15 years old, the state of Florida requires:
- Notarized Consent form (click here to print form)
State Issued Photo ID card, School Photo ID, Learner's Permit, Military Photo ID, or Passport
Birth Certificate
Parent present with Matching ID (last names and address must match, if they do not match then a birth certificate is required) or Legal Guardian with documented proof of Court Approved Guardianship
For minors who are 16 or 17 years old, the state of Florida requires:
- Notarized Consent form (click here to print form)
State Issued Photo ID card, Driver License, Learner's Permit, Military ID, or Passport
Birth Certificate
Parent does not have to be present as long as names match birth certificate and minor's ID
***Older relatives, friends, etc. are NOT legal guardians unless there
has been a court ordered change of guardianship with documented proof.
Please have consent forms notarized prior to your arrival.
NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE TO THIS POLICY- it is the law!
